The 2025 Walk-Wheel and Ride-A-Thon celebrates River Valley Riders' over 25 years of creating a supportive community where people with special needs connect with horses and experience life-changing benefits. This event raises funds to support our programs that help the families of our riders and drivers by keeping our services affordable and accessible. Take the challenge and be the team that raises the most funds! Families, friends, fitness groups, book clubs, classmates and corporate groups can join together to support this grassroots campaign. There are so many amazing personal RVR stories of success — help us share them by inviting friends and family to support this fundraiser! We will also have a special trail-ride fundraising event during lessons June 16th-30th (weather dependent) for our riders and drivers. Volunteers, you are a part of their team, so please join them in fundraising! We also have a virtual fundraising option for you to pick your activity: walking, wheeling, riding or anything you enjoy! |

| | | RVR Horses Work to See Who Can Raise the Most for the Ride-A-Thon! |
| Arvid and the gang have started competing regarding who is the BEST fundraiser for RVR. Winston... well, he didn't exactly "throw down", but he did gently set down a challenge to the others to "Kindly demonstrate your merit or retire from the conversation." (That's Winston's super polite way of telling the others to put up or shut up!) Thus, each of the RVR-owned herd has his or her own page dedicated to raising donations during the 2025 Walk, Wheel, Ride-A-Thon. CFO Kathy Jo Hanson has promised a special yummy treat to the winner of the friendly competition since the herd has resolved to put their competitive spirits to good use! Click on a horse's photo to donate to your favorite of the five (or multiple favorites!) at their individual fundraising pages! |

Bricks will fill in the patio near the outdoor arena. Brick donations received by July 31st 2025 will be installed in the fall. Brick donations made after July 31st will be installed next year. River Valley Riders volunteers are the heart of our program! Without our dedicated side walkers, horse leaders, support volunteers- and our incredible volunteer therapy horses- we couldn’t fulfill our mission of creating a supportive community where people with special needs connect with horses and experience life-changing benefits. As our programs continue to grow, so do our volunteer opportunities. We need more helping hands and friendly faces, and we’d love to get to know each of you better. While we all share a love for people and horses, each volunteer brings unique talents and experiences. You may even find an area where you’d like to learn something new or grow your skills. Below is a list of areas where we’re hoping to increase volunteer engagement. If you are interested in learning more or getting more involved with RVR in other ways, please reach out to board member Dawn Hank at dawnhank4955@gmail.com or 651-295-6968. |

Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, as well as to honor our joining the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce! After the Ribbon Cutting, stay to take a tour of our facilities, visit with some of our horses, and learn more about our programming. If that’s not enough incentive, we’ll also have cake! |
